Paul and Nancy Hannum are working on a project titled, “The Studio Boat,” which explores the work of artist Claude Monet.

Nancy is working on an art quilt background for their scene. Her work demonstrates that the miniature settings require a wide range of skills: not just creating miniatures gardens and miniature objects but also other art, design, and craftsmanship skills.

Paul Hannum is working on building the Studio Boat that will be a central feature of their scene. He is also modeling Claude Monet’s miniature paint box after his own paint box!
